Conor Rafferty (born 3 February 1987 in Dundalk, County Louth), is an Irish footballer currently unattached. Rafferty plays as central defender or left back.
Rafferty from Cooley, Co. Louth began his career in England with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2003 following winning an all-Ireland under 15 title with Dublin schoolboy club Lourdes Celtic.[1] Rafferty was released by Wolves in 2006 and after a trial at Wycombe Wanderers he returned to Ireland to sign for Bohemians in January 2007. Shortly after signing for Bohemians, Rafferty was sent on loan to local rivals Shelbourne on 27 February 2007 in order to gain fitness and experience and to help Shelbourne out with their player shortage.[2] He made his Shelbourne league debut on 9 March 2007 against Kildare County at Tolka Park in a game that finished in a 2-2 draw.[3] He returned to Bohemians in July 2007 after the end of his loan at Shelbourne for whom he made 11 league appearances. Rafferty was released by Bohemians at the end of the 2007 season.[4]
